With our region
Taking care of our environment and making possible a sustainable development are our basic principles. Alcalá Oliva not only cultivates its own land but also uses olives coming from a network of more than 1000 farmers who place the fruit of their efforts in our know-how. There is a strict control of good farming practices so that environment is given the utmost respect in every olive grove.
The olive grove cultivation circle closes with the use of every by-product generated during the olive oil production:
- After harvesting, the pruning off-cut is used for biomass.
- During production, the olive pits (orujillo) are used to feed stoves.
- The solid by-product during olive oil extraction, the alperujo, is use for energy co-generation and/or composting.
- All the waters used in the olive oil production process are recovered and reused for olive grove`s irrigation.
The imminent opening of our Olive Oil Museum reflects our absolute commitment with our region. Promoting olive oil means promoting our culture. Spreading as much information as possible about it is not a whim but almost an obligation.

Our commitment to food safety and the quality of our products is solid. We have improved all our internal processes and as a result, our packaging plant currently holds the IFS quality certification.
