About Us
Alcalá Oliva is a family-owned company with over 20 years of experience, dedicated to offering authentic, top-quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil. We combine an innovative approach with a deep respect for this age-old tradition. And since versatility is part of our essence, our range goes beyond olive oil, including flavoured oils, vinegars, and vinaigrettes, offering unique culinary experiences.
The Alcalá Oliva brand embodies our most traditional values and is closely tied to our heritage and identity.
The Minioliva brand showcases our innovative and forward-thinking spirit, specializing in the single-serve segment, and has become our hallmark.
Inspired by the sea of olive trees surrounding us, our founder, Santiago Pérez Anguita, designed this unique packaging—authentic inside and out, a faithful reflection of the olive from which genuine extra virgin olive oil is extracted.
Our History
The mill was founded under a cooperative system of local farmers.
Alcalá Oliva acquired the mill and introduced new production systems.
We began diversifying, transitioning from bulk olive oil sales to offering bottled products under our own brand, Alcalá Oliva.
Our iconic MINIOLIVA packaging was born.
With the new generation at the helm, the company embarked on its international journey, laying the groundwork for global growth and streamlining its commercial operations.
The Minioliva range expanded with new products, and in the same year received the Innovation Award at SIAL Paris, a leading international food industry fair.
The company expanded operations with a new bottling facility, where we moved the main headquarters. This includes a large warehouse, extensive storage areas, and the restoration of a historic mill, now home of our Olive Oil Museum.
Awarded Best Product at the NRA Show in Chicago, a key event in the U.S. foodservice sector.
The corporate image was refreshed, and the portfolio expanded with innovative, high-quality products, adapting to market trends and the expectations of new consumers.
Significant investments were made to increase production and storage capacity. Today, we have four single-serve production lines, optimized for sustainable materials, alongside two bottling lines dedicated to traditional bottled formats.
